    It is possible you have a bad thermostat but that would be a very unusual case. Who installed your unit originally?

    The system was here when I bought the house.. so I have no clue. The only ones who put these sytems in around here are about two hours south of me... and I don't have the money right know to pay them to come and look at it(two hours travel each way$$$) so I use the wood stove, it heats the house just has some quirks and from what I can gather those quirks are not suppose to be there...

    The price of parts for that furnace are also very expensive. Remember there is a warranty on the parts but for the length of time you will need to check the companys web site.

    That's why I have the woodstove know one in this area knows anything about this furnace and all I have is the internet for answers.I think I am the only one in my area that has this furnace.

    The manufacturer will not send you anything they only work through there dealer network.

Ihave a 1994 Rheem furnace it is a 75,000 BTU with a hot surface ignition. Once it is triggered, the ignition takes place but shuts itself off after 5-7 seconds thus blowing out cool air. I have tried reversing the plug to make sure it is correctly plugged into the wall (polar). Once it goes...
