men like you make me ill mjm. Leave her alone to get on with her life. At your age you should soon begin to realise that you will become a very lonely old man. Play all you like but don't enter into a relationship. I have been there and been hurt by 'harmless fun'. At least she has the morals and values to be happy with someone. You destroyed that so let her go. If it makes you seriously consider why you have not had a serious relationship until your age and makes you consider trying to work out your problems, then great. Until then, mess around with anyone you like but leave relationships where people trust you to be doing the right thing alone. I really do think it is too late for her. As krs said "people forgive but they dont forget"... not a good basis for a lasting relationship. It sounds to me like you have probably loved and played around on a lot of women in this way... hence... get your help etc but please don't screw anyone around like this unless they aware that your relationship with them is not serious and that they are happy for you to be doing it. At the age of 46 how do you still not know this is wrong? I don't think you can get her back. I'm glad your going to counseling. Hopefully they can help you because this is teenage behavior not behavior of someone who is middle aged.
