I do believe that Christianity is the religion of worshiping Jesus Christ along with The Father and Holy Spirit trinity God and it was established by God who at first set the rules for it with the Jews.
Later it evolved into what we know of as Christianity as established by Jesus with what He called "My Church"

I have heard you say many thing, but this shows no love unto another.

Do you think that anyone can seek justification by Christ and still sin? God forbids! (Gal 2:17)

I rejoice in my love for Christ and will not partake of your judgement.
    Snd,

I just don't want to argue and go around the same mountain. It is a waste of both of our time. I believe you do put yourself under the law in many instances such as eating pork. I think you are wrong and you think I am wrong. I am cool with that. You WANT to read into my comments and I wasn't rude or unloving. It appears you are the one JUDGing me by saying I am not showing love. It is possible you to misunderstood the tone of a written message. I am not unkind, rude, or unloving. I just don't agree with you. That is all.

Well this is off the subject but if you would like to start another thread... I'd be happy to reply. It is a GREAT discussion... I think. And YES, he IS God.

    Dare81,
Jesus indicates that He is God many times in the New Testament.
One is when he said "I am He"
Another is when Thomas called Him "my Lord and God" and Jesus accepted that without comment.
    There are several others.
Star a new thread on that to get lots of information about that.
    Peace and kindness,

I agree with ClassyT and Jakester (and Tjs3) on the first answer.
From what the world has experienced over the years and years of religious beliefs, and the following choice of a chosen faith, I have always included Christianity and Protestantism in those choices.

Religion began with the worship of nature, and yes it was mankind that decided it was a divine spirit trying to reveal truth to them. And histroy examples idol worship such as animals that has evolved into existence . The religion of the enlightened one known as Buddhism, and then Hinduism on to the reformers of it to Hindustan. The teaching of great sage as Confucianism known to be confusian ethics. And the religion few can understand Taosim held to sacred book tao-teh-king. Japan was held to the way of gods in Shinto in sacred books known as our bible. And Zozoatrianism holding to the sacred books of Avestas.

Then Judaism 13th century B.C. held to the sacred books of the Old Testamnet which consisted of 5 books of law known as the Torah. And other historical books, the Prophets and other miscelleous writings.

Do we stop here to say no other religion was brought forth and fulfilled? Christ was the way, and it was our Father's love for us that sent Christ the Son. So that we could be set free us from the bondage of false religion or false doctrines of man.

Do we recognize the teaching and worship of Jesus Christ. The answered call to the divine spirit of truth (Holy Spirit) we hold stedfast in profitable gospel in godliness.

Jesus of Nazareth and the religious following in worship of Christ was build upon a foundation known as Christianity. The foundation as we know by sacred books of the NT was build by the phophets, apostles, and Christ being the corner stone.

Reformation then by Protestantism a term used in 1783 that set out of the dark ages, that NO one can command or ought to command or force compel any man's belief.

This list continues in different protestant sects. More then 250 denominations.

If you believe Christianity is not a religion then define religion for us?

The term "religion" refers to the personal practices elected of faith, and to the following of those practices shared in conviction of heart. So the Christian religion would be the individual's answer to the calling of Christ.
