You certainly know what the score is. Continue to share with him all of the experiences you've had by communicating on this forum. Encourage him to check out this site and some of the links that have been provided by posters on this site. He needs a dose of reality and the sooner the better. I think part of the problem may be that right now he thinks he has her where he wants her, since they're obviously communicating and spending time together at the moment. It's hard to convince someone that they're headed down the wrong path when things are going their way. Problem is, eventually the novelty will wear off for her, just like it did last time, then she'll be cheating on him all over again. Maybe that's when he'll wake up and smell the coffee but it'd be much better for him to beat her to the punch. I'm not suggesting that he should just go out and sleep with someone else for spite but he needs to back off, be aloof, not return calls/messages right away, hang out with his other female friends, the whole nine yards ; you know the drill. Just keep trying to convince him but don't be too disappointed if he doesn't respond positively. Remember, you can lead them to the water but you can't make them drink.

In the long run she WILL get SICK of the over attention... women need space... they need to miss you some times.

Please try and convince him that this over attention WILL kill this relationship once and for all.

This is in for a huge fall... huge hurt... YOU HAVE TO TELL HIM THIS. It will happen.

I've said everything I can to him. She is definitely putting on the full court press. She is texting him all the time, she is calling all the time, emailing all the time. It's obviously working. There are so many problems in their relationship. His parents despise her, her parents despise him. Her mother flat out HATES him, for no reason at all. And his ex DID CHEAT on him. He found this out. Still doesn't seem to matter. He chalks it up to her age, she's 19.

This will sound superficial, but she is not receiving as much attention from other guys now because she shaved her head. May sound silly, but it is a fact. Another reason she might be leaning on him again. Because he STILL cares deeply for her.

I don't think she has done any self-improvement. None. Missing someone is not self-improvement. My roommate is trying to self-improve. But I really think what is happening now is awful. He was just getting over her, MOVING ON, and she crawled back into his head.

My friend is 24, and he thinks that unless he gives her another chance, he'll never know for sure if they were meant to be. He has actually told me, that if it fails a second time, then he'll really know that it's over. Maybe that is the best. Because as of now, he has not given anyone else a chance. Not one person. He doesn't even want to. I don't understand why.

I just told him good luck, and I'm here for you. I hope things work out for him.
