This really is not a question about immigration law, maybe move or repost this in family law... I assume your lawyer should be filing some kind of suit for all these delays...

Were you legally married? What is her legal status? The child is a US citizen but would the mother be able to return to US?

    The Lawyer?
Okay I just have one question. Im going to court for back child support, I am not here to make any excuses but I need a little help. Well the first time the judge changed it to a later date because I didn’t have a lawyer. Well the next court date my ex did not show up, she had taken my son to Mexico and has been sending me threaten to not return back to Texas. Her lawyer changed the date to the 3rd of February, when I was walking up to the court room her lawyer stopped me and told me that she has gotten in touch with him finally and she has had a death in the family and is not going to show at this court date either. And that he would take care of changing the date for when she returns. So I just turned away and left. Well the question that I have is can the lawyer come to me and tell me that she was not going to show, but I have a strange feeling that he was lying.

It would be pretty unethical for him to lie/mislead you in any way when he is acting as her representation. Do you have a circuit clerk site that monitors court minutes that you can check? You can also go back down to the courthouse and verify it was rescheduled.

I'm still having trouble understanding your posts. First you were the father, then you were the girlfriend, now you're the father again.

Then you say the lawyer approached you as you were walking up to the court room and based on what he told you, you left; then you ask what would happen "say, if he did do this." Either he did it or he didn't.

Also, you originally posted that you were going to court to get your support amount reduced; now you said you're going because of back support.

If you could please post all of the information as it actually happened, it will get you the most accurate answer. Posting random bits and pieces of conflicting information prevents anyone and everyone from being able to help you.

I am not as nice as This8384 - I've seen you all over the legal boards with conflicting identities and conflicting stories. That, by the way, is what they are. Stories. If any of this is true and you were able to find the Courthouse by yourself, you are also able to find the Court Clerk by yourself.

I'll take it a step further. I think you are the same person, also out of Texas, who was banned from the Board.

    I think you're a troll.

I've merged three of your threads into one. These three show inconsistencies in your story as pointed out by other responders.

We don't like people playing games looking for advice. So either you tell us the full story and stick to it or this thread will be closed.

But also I had recently gotten a new job and need help because what I am supposed to be paying in child support a week I don't even make that much a week. And as to the laywer what I mean is what do I do if he went in front of the judge and said that I didn't show up. Because I didn't go in front of the judge when he came to me I left... not thinking.

The site discourages two users on one account for reasons just like this. We are all volunteers and no one has the time to sort out problems caused by multiple people using the same name.

It also doesn't explain the differing circumstances which you have posted. You are BOTH in the same position regarding children and support?

This does not explain the consistencies. I think it should be shut down.
