I like a few of their songs, yes and thank you! :)

I have a hard time saying that I like one band in particular, which is why I just say which songs or genres I like. I like all kinds, including a few bluegrass songs (don't have the songs here and forget the names, but they are very sweet.)

I can say that I like EVERYTHING by Apocalyptica. <3

Same here I consider myself ecletic, as in I like everything however I tend to listen to a few distinct genre's. Rock of course, anything from 60's to today, I also like rap, not today's stuff though, but the 90's stuff like dre, tupac, and what not... all great stuff...

However with the rock, I mostly like the 70's and Grunge stuff, mainly because grunge will built upon by the 70's rock movement. A lot of progressive, punk, arena, hardcore, post-hardcore,light(very little), etc. however I am not all that into death metal, I like speed however. Big fan of Megadeth. But Pearl Jam is definitely my favorite not only because of the sound, but because of what it talks about. I never use to say that I had a favorite band, but with pearl jam it's more than music, and that feeling only really comes from having a favorite band.

I agree with you on the 'feeling' bit.

Seems like some rock today sounds too much like 'pop'. Not a bad thing, still good, but hardcore is missing in this century.
