    Hi!

Sodium is one of the electrolytes that are important in our bodies. Sodium of 134 although it is one point lower than the low number on the reference range (135 to 146) usually means degree of hydration. In other words if you are drinking a lot of fluids, your sodium may decrease. Your doctor may not do anything about it and may even repeat the test with your normal fluid intake. In the states, sometimes, tests are repeated if they are abnormal (high or too low), since the labs are run by machines and there is always a possibility of lab error. That being said, you still don't know the cause of your feet swelling. Except for the swollen feet, just how do you feel in general? Do you have any other areas that are swollen? Like hands and fingers? If you are feeling OK, it is probably not unreasonable to wait to see your doctor for his opinion. Of course if you are feeling the other way around, don't wait, give him or her a call and see what he says.
