Palin on Biden's comment :
The "International Crisis" Obama may face His running mate Joe Biden may speak again in public and that would be an International Crisis!".
Edit :
Here is Palin's remarks today :
Two weeks from today, Americans will be asked to cast their vote for the next president of the United States. There's no time to wait. Let's get right to it.
Did you hear what Senator Biden said at a fundraiser on Sunday? He guaranteed that if Barack Obama is elected, we'll face an international crisis within the first six months of their administration. He told Democrat donors to mark his words – that there were “at least four or five scenarios” that would place our country at risk in an Obama administration. Thanks for the warning, Joe!
He didn't specify what all those four or five scenarios will be, but for clues, let's review the Obama foreign policy agenda.
Our opponent wants to sit down with the world's worst dictators. With no preconditions, he proposes to meet with a regime in Teheran that vows to “wipe Israel off the map.” Let's call that crisis scenario number one.
Senator Obama has also advocated sending our U.S. military into Pakistan without the approval of the Pakistani government. Invading the sovereign territory of a troubled partner in the war against terrorism. We'll call that scenario number two.
He opposed the surge strategy that has finally brought victory in Iraq within sight. He's voted to cut off funding for our troops, leaving our young men and women at grave risk. He wants to pull out, leaving some 25 million Iraqis at the mercy of Iranian-supported Shiite extremists and al Qaeda in Iraq. By his own admission, this could mean our troops would have to go back to Iraq. Crisis scenario number three.
After the Russian army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence – the kind of response that would only encourage Vladimir Putin to invade Ukraine next. That would be crisis scenario number four.
But I guess the looming crisis that most worries the Obama campaign right now is Joe Biden's next speaking engagement. Let's call that crisis scenario number five.
The real problem is that these warnings from Joe Biden are similar to his earlier assessment of Barack Obama. It wasn't so long ago that he said Barack Obama wasn't up to the job, and that, quote, “the presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.” The same Joe Biden said he would be honored to run on the ticket with John McCain because, quote, “the country would be better off.” And here we have some common ground. I want a president who spent 22 years in uniform defending our country. I want a president who isn't afraid to use the word “victory” when he talks about the wars we are fighting. I want a president who's ready on Day One. I want a president with the experience and the judgment and the wisdom to meet the next international crisis – or better yet to avoid it. I want John McCain as our commander-in-chief.

Nice try, NK, that was a response to your earlier post that was absent an actual response to the questions I asked, just prior to your changing the subject. Do you have an actual response to the OP?

That doesn't sound like a person who is ready for the position she is running for. It sounds like unrestrained water cooler talk. There is a reason they don't let out in front of the press.

Let's call that another lapse in Obama's judgment, first he picked the guy that said he wasn't qualified but his opponent is to be his running mate, and then he failed to keep Biden from being "out in front of the press."

The media finally admits what some of us have said all along. Note the following exchange in an interview of Sarah Palin by CNN's Drew Griffin:
Palin, asked if Biden gets a pass: "Drew, you need to ask your colleagues and I guess your bosses or whoever is in charge of all of this, why does Joe Biden get a pass on such a thing? Can you imagine if I would have said such a thing? No, I think that we would be hounded and held accountable for, what in the world did you mean by that, VP... candidate? Why would you say that mark my words, this nation will undergo international crisis if you elect Barack Obama? If I would have said that, you guys would have clobbered me."
Griffin: " You are right."

Hello again, Steve:
I'm not quite sure what you're saying... I never know what you guy's are really saying, because you don't really SAY it. You INFER it.
So, what are you inferring?? That the media is liberal? Duh.
That Sarah Palin is equal to Joe Biden?? Dude! They ain't equal. Oh, they both got mouths, all right, but that's it.

PS> Biden at least UNDERSTANDS what the job of VP is. But, like some of us have been saying, Sarah Palin doesn't have a clue. Yesterday, she said that she would be in CHARGE of the Senate and she'll be able to get down with senators to help make good laws...
What??
She even said she can see Russia from the Senate.

The VP is President of the Senate... check out your pocket Constitution. The fact that the modern VP has not exercised that role does not mean it doesn't exist. The Founders certainly intended the VP to play an active role . How do I know this ? Because all of them that were VPs did indeed preside over the Senate proceedings. Adams Jefferson and Burr all did so.
So why did it change ? My best guess is that the 12th Amendment changed to VP from an opponent of the President to a political ally. There was less of a case to be made of a true separation of powers . VP's became more inclined to work within the Executive branch and their role in the Senate evolved to primarily ceremonial .
But that doesn't mean a VP could not exercise that role .There would not be a damn thing that Harry Reid could do about Palin grabbing the gavel short of conviction on Impeachment .
VP's in some cases have since acted as liaisons with the legislative branch. LBJ was good at it. In fact ;Obama and Biden have openly spoken of him having a similar role.
So what Palin envisions is exactly what Obama has in mind for Biden.
Now perhaps Palin could've stated it better ;but she was addressing a 3rd grader's question .

Let's not infer, even though I think it's been perfectly clear what I've said in the past. The mainstream media has a double standard, this guy admitted it. How does that serve the public interest? It doesn't, and don't give me that they're balanced out by Limbaugh and Fox News line. Do the majority of Americans get their news from Fox, Limbaugh, Medved, the National Review? Not even close.

Hello again, Steve:
Actually, I think it IS close... My evidence is the upcoming election. It's going to be close.
If the righty's aren't getting their news from talk radio, and all they get is the "liberal" media, Obama should CRUSH McCain... But, it ain't going to happen.
So, how are all those righty's keeping up if NOT for Limprod and his ilk?
