Her motives, and reasons are not important, and is a smokescreen for the real deal, how you handle yourself now, with this new revelation.

You can dwell on this rejection and waste time tripping, or you can accept that door is closed, and make some adjustments.

Its never about what has happened, its always about what you do next. That is your focus.

    Thoughts?? Yours, not hers!

    Thanks for the responses everyone.

T-mam - Right as usual. I guess I was stressing to know why because it appeared a sure bet and as it turned out I'm left wondering what I missed.

The real disappointment lies in the situation and not so much the girl. I have not been able to meet anyone that fits my "criteria" lately and so when she rolled around and things looked bright I wanted to take time to enjoy the feeling, that's why I waited so long to call. Also, that I was really blindsided by theanswer, I really thought this one was it.

Anyway, I feel pretty goos today and hey it's not the worst pain I've ever felt, many others on here are going through much worse and so I am grateful. If anything, I am glad I did ask, I'm glad she did respond well, and I'm glad I can deal with it. Try, try again.
