Dude, with friends like that, who needs enemies. Sound like he took advantage of your gal. After you described him, he is a real scumbag.

I'd keep your gal in the dog house for a while, but she deserve another chance. Shealso needs to understand what a jerk/scumbag this other guy and that not every guy in the world plays nice.
