    If you did not go in front of a judge, there is no criminal record.

    OR if you were given a court date and did not show up there will be a record.

    If the police caught you and the police were going to have you do some community service that is doing it off the books, and you were never actually charged, we used to do that with kids, making them pick up at the park or wash police cars all the time, then we just threw the tickets away and laughted at them doing the work.
