Yes EMP weaponry might be a game changer but you need to be able to follow up

That is why conventional weapons would be the back up. They don't need electricity to run or aim.

Which conventional weapons are they, hand guns. Tanks, aircraft and vehicles, etc might not survive an EMP. You have to get an idea of how far electronics have penertrated systems, targeting is electronic you can't move artillery with no vehicles and it is a long way to walk

And a EMP makes them as worthless as fire crackers.

Many vehicles may still run. They just need to be cranked to get them running if the run on diesel. You don't need a spark to make a diesel motor run. And targeting was done by hand in the old days like in WW2. Many diesel motors also have an "air" starter so it takes no electricity to make it turn over.

The most transparent administration EVER is at it again. Aside from the 600 page Friday document dump that's become an administration ritual, this time revealing Obamacare subsidies are going on the honor system, we now learn that they have a new tactic for hiding information from FOIA requests... the shell game.

Bin Laden raid files reportedly purged from Pentagon computers, sent to CIA

The nation's top special operations commander ordered military files about the Navy SEAL raid on Usama bin Laden's hideout to be purged from Defense Department computers and sent to the CIA, where they could be more easily shielded from ever being made public.

The secret move, described briefly in a draft report by the Pentagon's inspector general, set off no alarms within the Obama administration even though it appears to have sidestepped federal rules and perhaps also the Freedom of Information Act.
Of course there was no intent to shield the records, extensively leaked by the administration itsel, from public view and it protects the identities of SEAL team members. So does a magic marker.

But secretly moving the records allowed the Pentagon to tell The Associated Press that it couldn't find any documents inside the Defense Department that AP had requested more than two years ago, and could represent a new strategy for the U.S. government to shield even its most sensitive activities from public scrutiny.

"Welcome to the shell game in place of open government," said Thomas Blanton, director of the National Security Archive, a private research institute at George Washington University. "Guess which shell the records are under. If you guess the right shell, we might show them to you. It's ridiculous."

I guess we should just trust them, they've done nothing to earn our distrust have they?

Zero is pivoting back to the economy for the 976th time give or take a few, with a speech today that You're Going to Want to Watch but according to Obama, "not because I think the speech is going to change any minds" - which makes one wonder then what's the point?

I'm hoping he tells us how he rescued Detroit again...
