    UPDATE:

I just got a call from Starby's friend. Starby is in rough shape, will probably be in the hospital for a month, possibly more. This is going to be a slow recovery, she will be needing help when she gets to come home.

Her friend is contacting Starby's family, telling them that they are going to have to pitch in, suck it up, she needs them now.

Niki is still at home, Starby's friend goes every morning to feed her, give her water, let her outside for a romp and bathroom break. Niki is not happy, she's never been alone before, but the friend cannot take her back to her house.

Starby's friend has been trying to get in touch with Starby's brother to tell him he has to take Niki until Starby comes back home. So far no luck, but Niki is getting the basics so no worries.

Starby's friend now has my email address and she promised to keep me posted on any new developments. As soon as I hear something, you'll hear it too.

    That's it for now.

    Hiya.

Thanks for the update alty. I hope starby's people pull through.

My update... my shoulder is a little better today, but I'm not going to be doing any kettlebells or pilates soon. Don't think there's a break, might be a fracture... breaks are usually painful at the shoulder, but my strength is about 10% of what it should be. Going to get a sling to isolate it. Ice it. Pretend it is broken for a time.

    Poo.

    No handstands today.

Scratched my head too. I usually ride with a helmet, but I was just running up to get gas a couple blocks away. I know. I know. Fidiots on parade and I'm the leader. So my left temple is a little road rashed. Just enough to make people go "what the hell happened to you?"

The bike isn't too bad. Broken turn signal and dinged the headlamp. So far that's the damage report. It wouldn't talk to me yesterday, but today I sweet talked her into purring for a few minutes... just wanted to hear it run to know it could.

To top it off I already had a slightly weak knee from playing soccer and turning wrong on it.

    Oh well... could be worse.

Do I have to go all "insurance underwriter" on your arse? I can give you the "most accidents happen within 2 miles from home" speech, or the "motorbike accidents account for 75% of fatalities on our roads".

Don't make me go all mommy on you. :(

You take care of yourself, and from now on, helmet, helmet, helmet!

Okay, lecture over, do you need a hug, a back rub, a kiss to make it all better?

    I'm just a big softie. Poo. :(

I know. I have two helmets and I use them. Just not the one time I dropped the bike. Not saying I haven't ridden without, but that's usually been taking it down 8 houses and then back... obviously that's a bad plan.

Wasn't planning on riding, but I had it running and needed to put gasolina in the tank. Station is two blocks away. I was probably going 15-20... fell maybe 15 houses away. Stoopid is as stoopid does.

I don't even ride my mountain bike without a helmet.

Guess it takes the edge off my hand smacking those who don't use condoms and then wonder "am i pregnant"... that one time...

*goes and sits in the corner*

Honestly I don't know how I pushed it home and up the drive. The road is flat, but I think the adrenaline made me hustle it home fast.

Usually I don't get the bandages out unil after softball season starts. Its just not an official season until I draw blood somewhere.

    Danke.

    Poor kp.

As for the kneeling, that was more for the girl than for me.

Figures id turn an injury into sex talk.

Come to think of it, I probably turn every thread I post on into sex talk if I stay long enough... I bet its at least it's a 4:1 ratio... is that wrong?

    Rhetorical question.

I'd say I'm guilty of being addicted, but I like this addiction. I get pleasure in speaking with people on the board and they have become my friends. They helped me through some of my darkest days and I don't know where I'd be without them. I wanted to stay on the site to help people with their problems because they deserve it and need help just like we all have at one time or another.

But yes, my fingers do hurt, I am online at work all day(IT profession)

I wonder if we can sue AMHD for this? I need to start a thread.
