Hey everyone... just popped in to say a quick Hi.
Got to go do so more painting (we needed extra cash... so I was up for hire, lol). This is getting old real quick! My arms have no feeling to them anymore, haha. Who knew painting was such a good exercise?

Happy B'day to Alty's little man! Big-10.. woo hoo!!

Thanks M, Jared saw the cake, wants to know when you're going to send it here. ;)

We'll be okay, I just really need some advice, I don't trust the info on the internet. I do trust the psychologist and my doctor, but from everything I've read, Ritalin is not the answer, only something that masks the underlying problem. I want to do everything I can to help him, but are drugs the answer?

Thanks for reading it, I appreciate it. I'm hoping that J9 or Sneezy might have some insight, seeing as they work in the medical field. I just don't know what to do. I hate making a decission without all the info.

I love that little man so much, I just want to do right by him.

Thanks also for the hug, I needed that. :)

A man takes his Rottweiler to the vet and says,

"My dog's cross-eyed, is there anything you can do for him?"

The vet says, "let's have a look at him."

He picks the dog up and examines his eyes and teeth and says, "I'm going to have to put him down."

"What?" exclaims the man, "because he's cross-eyed?"

"No," says the vet, "because he's really heavy."

    Haha Friend... haha
Alty, I saw your thread about Jared... I want you to know, it doesn't have to be worrisome. This can be very enlightening and just think of the wonders that will come when he can concentrate and think clearly... red dyes first along with Yoga/meditation... I say start with that... HUGS...
(jesushelper has some great meditation techniques... I wish he could get here to talk about it!)

    LMAO, good one M. :)

Starby, did you share that poke joke with everyone? If not, you should.

Starty, thank you for the support. I'm doing some research about diet and other options for kids with ADHD. Our doctor is great, I trust him completely, so if there are alternatives to Ritalin he'll be the first to recommend them. I'm willing to try everything, even the Ritalin, but I want to exhaust every natural remedy first.

Thanks all, everyday you prove yourselves to me, when I'm at my lowest you are all there to help pick me up, words cannot express how much you all mean to me. Great, more tears. What's wrong with me lately? Is this menopause? ;)
