It was 7pm. Now it is 8 and over. That is one good thing about living in a subdivision. It's quick.

Our Halloween started at 4pm and was supposed to end at 7 pm, it's now 7:40 pm and they are still coming.
Most of the kids were very friendly, it was funny when I gave candy to a five year old and he said.. " I want the Kit Kats!" I said sorry that I was out of them. He said again " I want the red ones! I said sorry, he looked at me and said you gave them to the other kids! I said sorry, he stormed off stomping his feet... :) I know... but it was cute he curled his lower lip and pouted...

Cats was greeting the kids by saying "Trick or treat. Can I have some candy?"
The parents and older siblings would smile or laugh. The kids stopped in their tracks with puzzled looks on their faces. (One little doll of a child held her bag up for him. She had to have been about 4 years old. :D ) Then he would offer to trade. They didn't know what to think. :)

We had around 150 kids, and our kids have a bag of loot that will last them until next year.
Of course I have to go through all the stuff, take out the candy that's harmful, which translates to "the candy I like". ;)

Not so much... if they turn out eating all the candies they like much, they may get ill soon, plus no more have it during the year. It's more like a "you'll get those, in small quantities throughout the year" :p

Halloween Joke
I was waiting for my girl friend to pick me up to go to the Halloween party last night.
My neighbor, Mr. Scrub passed by me with his dog.
“Good Costume, are you a genie?”
He said cheerfully. I tried to be polite, and said
“Yes, I am. Thanks, where is your costume by the way?”
He goes
“Oh, I am disguised as a surgeon and will pretend to work all night in the hospital today. And my friend (pointing his dog) is pretending he is a dog.”
I said “Oh, yes. It is certainly a good costume. You did a very good job, and you look just like a real doctor.”
He goes
“The good news is, I have more than a dozen of these in my closet.”
We laughed loudly together.
I thought I lost my smile while ago, but I found it well!!
What a Happy Halloween!
In the morning:
Now I am back to my apartment project. I got the fresh coating of paint yesterday as I wish, but my place is totally upside down. It will make me to work all day today. Wish me a good luck! I need the real Genie to help me.
By the way, what is the name of giant who lives in the bottle with Genie, and help her all the time? I forgot. Are they living together in the small bottle? It is weird. Am I mixing up with the Aladdin's magic lamp story? :D

Hi Rebecca,
I guess I'm confused also. When I read your question, I was thinking Aladdin.
How did your Halloween party go? I went to my black-tie dinner last night, wearing my pretty new dress. I had such a good time, danced all night! The band was so good. :) It was at one of the big hotel/casinos here, and there were lots of party goers in the casino dressed in costume. What a fun night. :D

Rebecca, are you thinking of the cartoon version of I dream of Jeannie? The larger genie was her cousin, Babu.
I am glad you found your smile. :D
JLo, I am glad you had fun last night. I like the new look. :)
Your 'father' and I have decided the main rule for you is that Pete has to approve all dates. I will be looking for the paw print of approval. :)

Thanks, Cat. I'm still getting used to it. I deleted it once already, feeling self-conscious - but I wanted to show you guys. :) You'd approve of this one, trust me. Pete loves him. He's the same one that I started seeing "before". He's hung in through all of this - says a lot right there, I think.

Hi Gorgeous JM (Jacuzzi Model)!
So, I am not the only one confused. I am glad to know.
So, who knows about the relationship between the giant and Genie? Let's ask AMHD relationship expert. Ha Ha It is getting funnier.
Your party seems very classy. Mine was at the Hotel Banquet, but not black tie type, but rather casual. I imagine you danced well in the beautiful dress. I am SO HAPPY for you, beautiful lady!
I had so much fun last night as well. My girlfriend and her fiancé picked me up, and we went to the special Halloween party banquet place. Of course, my girlfriend wore the hair band for star wars princess out. She complained the hair band hurts her so much. Ha ha the place was so crowded with 100's of beautifully dressed men and women. I really enjoyed the party all night, and shook off my post break up depression.
I dressed as Genie as you know, it was a big success. I am not sure why almost every girl dressed as nurse or French maids. I was the only one Genie, and I was very happy for my choice. The worst part though, almost everyone in the party came to me and asked if I could do some magic for them. Ha Ha. I wish, but of course not. If I am a real Genie, I will make everyone happy by wiggling my nose anytime.
Instead, I ended up offering palm reading. (?? )
It started from the confusion someone took me as a fortune teller from middle east. Obviously there are so much confusion around Genie. Ha Ha
The good news is I could touch so many people's hands, and talk to them. I had so much fun. The palm reading was easy. If they seemed a happy couple, I say “oh, you guys will have a beautiful future together…”, and if he is a single guy or girl “Oh, I can see you will enjoy this party, and meet someone special very soon if it does not happen tonight”.
I basically gave all of them my best wish. I think I have a good possibility to be a good match maker or fortune teller. LOL!

If you don't mind my asking, isn't that the one you changed to when you were trying to decide between Petey (then Sweetie) and a human picture? If so, I liked it then, too. :)
It sounds like this is a good guy. If Petey approves, so do I. :D

OOPS, you know all the resources here. I am not.
I am only unlicensed uncensored ‘possible’ match maker.
I will not date to steal Alty’s spot. Ha Ha
By the way, I took some advantage last night.
If the guy has good looking, I read his palm line more closely. LOL

I think Babu was Jeannie's friend or cousin. Anyway, he was totally incompetent. Here's the opening theme:

Pete is an adorable lab puppy who owns JLo. Until she named him, he was called Sweetie. Petey is his affectionate name. :)
I'll see if I can find the picture she posted of him a couple of "castles" (discussion threads) ago.
