    Your right. I normally have the mammoth ones growing but I got my seeds mixed up this year. Oh well. Next year.

    This is really funny though. I had all these sunflower seeds and my son planted two seeds in each cup for all the neighbor girls. Here is what's to funny. In three cups there were mammoth seeds. The same family got all the cups and they planted them in the front lawn of there place. Now they look so stupid they are soooo huge.

    My grandad had a load of sunflowers in is front garden as well, reall big ones, heads the size of my torso, but unfortunately they all got chopped down, because school kids walk past his house to get to school and well you see the problem :)

    Yep those are the ones. I love them! One summer I taught my son you could really eat those seeds and so we did. Right from the flower. We baked some to for fun.

    The seeds never really took my fancy as something edible, must be because I don't have wings or feathers :D

    My husband loves sunflower seeds. He buys them by the bag fool.

    Sadly he spits the shells on the floor in the garage. I hate that. :(
