    Shattered, Joe,
I've read, like I said before that many of the original locations that the NWS began using for temperature recording have been overwhelmed with buildings and parking lots.

    Okay Captain,

Do not worry I will change my signature every 5 minutes. Until I get it right.

That would effect the readings of the temperatures meaning that the same conditions need to be met all the time to have accurate readings. So are you saying it is possible that the earths trends are not necessarily global warming by man made but actually could be changes that are natural and would happen anyway, or are you one that believes that global warming does not even exist?

So, anyhow, the NWS is actually creating more adaptive tempurature model to correct for this problem, while also moving many of it's recording sites. The problem is they don't have funding for too much.

I was just teasing about the sig, Joe...

But, yes, big cities create their own weather phenom. I don't believe in the popular theory that's running amuck about hystericla global warming...

Burning fossil fuels and being neglectful of MOther Nature doesn't help Captain... It truly makes a bad situation worse. Don't get me started on the trees now or the rainforest either.. Once it is gone, we are doomed..

Shattered, you have a good point and I'm not going to try to minimize what's happening to our planet, I just think there are other things that can be addressed to help reduce greenhouse gasses... Manufacturing is a bigger polluter than many realize... Look a China and it's industrial revolution... They've generated more pollution in the last ten years than the US has in the past twanty. We're doing something about it ,and thery aren't.

Shattered I agree. The forests give us life giving oxygen and by them destroying them leaves less oxygen for us and I do believe that it will slowly kill us by depleting the supplies and balance we need on this earth for survival. Totally agree with you shattered.
