The weather can do goofy things... remember "The Perfect Storm"?
I lived in NH then and we got hit with that one! It snowed so hard. I lived on a mountain and people were getting their cars stuck and it was a mess. As it began to get dark, I would have my wood stove going and all the lights around the house on. People would walk from their cars to my house, kids and all, we'd sit around talking, wood stove blazing, and they'd call someone with a snowmobile to come get them... I met nearly twenty of my neighbors that day

I had a good time of it... yakkin' with people I'd never have met and popped a movie in for the kiddies (Chitty-chitty Bang-bang + Wizard of Oz)... making popcorn.. I guess I find the good in everything!

You southerners are floating away with all of your rain, and here I can't even wash my car... 5 months of drought has really put a damper on things.

The only storm we are getting are dust storms and in Western NY that is not something you see to often
