Almost all of my posting s done between 4 AM to 7 or 8 AM while sucking down a pot of coffee . Digging deeper into the news and writing down my thoughts is just my way of making sense of it all. I would only post in other venues if I were to spend much more time cleaning up basic grammar and organizing it better .

This is the only place I post commentary . I used to do some on Fakebook but it impacted relationships. I used to post on another conservative site but I was attacked too often for being too left .

After the rest of the world wakes up I garden ;hike ;walk the dogs ;work out at the gym ; cook ,and other things retired geezers do for fun.

Facebook is a strange place. They all seem to be more interested in how many base hits the grandson got yesterday as opposed to legitimate threats to freedom.

When I posted anything of substance people seemed to take it personally. So Fakebook I reserve for family and sometimes I go bold enough to paste a bland humorous meme.

For a while I was in a group chat on email with a group of officers and other government types during the GWOT . But that group has dissolved as members pursued other interests or passed away.

Today it is too hot to do outdoor activities . So I am making my award winning gluten free meatballs and sauce.

I found the same thing to be true here. It is what has led me to conclude that people generally don't like having their beliefs questioned. I ran into fits of anger here that I don't recall ever encountering before.

It's a shame your posts don't get around more. You spend the time to do the research and that makes a lot of difference.

Anything more than what I do would seem to be work. I could set up something like a sub stack ;but there are already real journalists posting there that I sometimes use as a resource .

Judge Merchan partly lifted the gag order on Trump . He can now attack critics like Michael Cohen and the jury . He is not permitted to speak ill of court staff ;Bragg, Merchan and family members (you remember the role of Merchan's daughter in this )
