Sarah, OCD is not just about keeping yourself clean. There are many other things. Like double checking your stove is off 100 times before leaving the house. Or retying your shoes several times until it is perfect.. These are just extreme cases.

    Mild case here, whew.
Or I love the checking to make sure windows and doors are locked fifteen times a night. Which includes a fifteen times a night complete walk through. Also walking around your partner because you can't trust that she locked the door if you weren't the one who did it.

Last night we were at a teppan restaurant (where the Japanese chef cooks in front of you at the table) and the chef dropped a shrimp on the table before it hit my partner's plate. Following that the chef picked it up and placed it on my partner's plate. I quickly offered to exchange my shrimp (although typically his reaction is that his whole plate has been contaminated) but surprisingly he said he was 'OK'. Primarily because we had the whole table to ourselves (you often sit with others in front of the chef). I was so excited and proud I almost cried.

We can't own a pet because there isn't anything dirtier than animals. We don't visit my parents very often because they have two big golden retrievers that are indoors, so between the hair, slobber and dog toys my partner can't sit down in the house and heaven forbid relax.

We constinently work together to try small steps in keeping him comfortable, but it is an everyday battle.

So, here is the deal, I have to catch ZZ Top and Aerosmith back to back to one another and be the sixth caller to win tickets to their concert and I think I can do it, but I just don't know. Aerosmith was 3rd on my list to see, I have already seen ZZ Top, AC/DC was either number one or two, the other is Nickelback and I have already bought tickets for their show this summer.

Just thought I would share that with you!
