Actually, I'm working on Christmas presesnts.

I make about a couple dozen different kinds of cookies and candies, and bundle them up in pretty little boxes, and send them to my friends for Xmas. Everyone only gets one or two of each kind, but it's the thought, right?

His name is Robert Cornelius Davidson and he was born in 1927 (I think). I was hoping to find him or connect with others in the family to learn a little about my roots there, but no luck so far. He was in the Army when they had an RA number instead of a Social Security number and I don't know either one.. Since my mom wanted to keep me away from him, she did not tell me much. When I was young I always imagined that I belonged to the Harley-Davidson clan. It really would be nice to know and pass on some history to my grandson. Rick_J has also offered his assistance in that area.
I searched three free genealogy search sites (links below) but didn't get any matches based just on name, date of birth, and born in Kentucky (I assumed. Is it true?). If you go to each site and fill in all the information you know, like your mother's name (spouse), date of marriage, or parents' (your grandparents) names, etc you might get something. Each site is different in terms of what other identifying information they can use in the search.
