Liens on Real Estate to recover personal debt
Is it possible to place a lien on someone's property in order to be secured for personal debt owed by that person, with his/her permission? With the rapid foreclosures going on right now, the only means by which a friend might be able to pay me back is through eventual sale of his property, but if he is foreclosed on, I'm out. State: Connecticut.
Any thoughts? The amount is $15,000. |
