    Earthlink disconnecting my connection
I have a dial up connection and use Earthlink. At least several times a day I keep getting a screen pop up that says I have a call waiting and that my internet connection is going to be turned off. "Answer of Ignore". I always chose ignore. I do not have call waiting on my phone nor do I have any feature that I pay for with Earthlink for an internet call waiting. This is most annoying to keep having my internet connection dumped. Is there any setting I missed? I did access the Earthlink call waiting setting and that is NOT checked or enabled in any way.

I was wondering if Earthlink sends out a signal every so often when there are too many customers online on the dial up mode to dump them off the system? Would it help if I chose a new phone number to connect to? This seems to happen every day around the same times also. Sometimes I can be connected for 15 hours with no interruption. Go figure. I asked the phone company about this and they haven't the faintest clue what is going on. I even rewired my home phone lines and the phone box but still no success.
