    Equation of line
    :) Hello. Help me to solve this sum.

    I have: A(4;0), a=9, e=2/3.

    I need to:

    1) make the equation of a line, when for its each point attitude of distance to a point A and to straight line x=a is equal to number e.
    2) the received equation to lead to a simple kind and to construct a curve.

    OK. L: x-9=0;

    4x+0y-9=0;

    M(x;y) MA(/sqrt(x-4)^2 + (y-0)^2)/) = /sqrt9^2 + y^2/

    I need to find dL(M)=? Probably.

    And then I will use MA/dL(M)=e.
