    emo is a style
    nothing more nothing less.
    and its fading fast.

I don't agree with you at all!
your wrong, and its not fadding
    its actually blooming out more.
emo started as a music and was
transformed into a style of clothing!
omg! Most emos don't cut their wrists for fun!
and there are people out there that cut their
wrists not for fun. But for realiving stress and not
all of them are emo!omg!u drive me insane with
your strong opinuns and thinking your right cause your
wrong! your crazy if u think there is something wrong w/
being emo! Your just a !

and if you want to date an emo girl u don't have to dress emo!u dress however u want to dress!no one tells you how you should dress in order to get them w/ you. Its your choice!

don't let that one make your decisions or change your mind!
emo = beauty and emo= love

It has been a while since I posted this question and I've made some changes. I took into consideration what most of you have said, not to change my style for the sole purpose of getting the attention of someone, to let my personality do the work.

I did make a wardrobe change, however. I dress more in the emo style and I like the way I look. It fits "ME". I believe I was planning to make this change all along, but I am glad I got the feedback I did.

I have gotten positive reinforcement from those who know me, so the change seems to have been a success! I haven't changed my personality at all, in fact I feel like a burden of secrecy has been lifted off my shoulders, that I can dress on the outside how I have always felt on the inside.

As for the girl.. she did take notice! She likes another guy right now, but we talk and have found that we have a lot in common!

Well, I have a LOT of emos at my school. And not all of them just date emos. Like one of my BEST friends is emo and she's dating a jock. So I don't really think that u HAVE to be a serton style to get anyone.

personally i think its all extremely stupid
and you shouldnt want to date someone who slits there wrists bc its "cool"
they all need to grow up, and so do you
date the person not the clothes
Not all emos slit there wrists in fact most don't
