    Green card
    My son has been in the US for five years, on a student visa, he is now working, and plans to take his masters degree in January. He has an interview for his green card on the 18th Dec and was hoping to fly home the next day to the UK for Christmas, but has been told if he is successful at his interview they will take his passport and all his documentation from him and he will not get it back for around two weeks, so he will not be able to travel, is this correct?
