    Basement Shower P-Trap
I am installing a full bathroom in my basement. I am using macerator pump to avoid a massive project and mess of jackhammering into the concrete slab. My issue is with the shower. If I build a 8 inch platform for the shower no one taller than 6 feet will easily be able to take a shower. My question is how can I allow my taller friends and family to use the shower? Can I get away with less than 8 inches of a platform? Is chiseling an 8 inch diameter hole into the concrete for the p-trap an option or is there an easier way to do it?
