Switching from 3 wires to 4. (on a dryer)
Wasn't sure where to put this...

Okay, so my husband and I just moved. Our old house had a 3 prong outlet, the new house has the 4.

We tried putting the new wire on, we read the directions, but I think we're getting something wrong because the dryer isn't working still.

Here is a picture of the dryer as we have it set up now...

The green wire is the ground wire from the new 4 wire cord. The wire I drew the line on is from inside the dryer it was where the green wire used to be when we had the three wires.

It seems to be hooked up right, it looks just like what the directions say. Maybe Im missing something?

I need some help ASAP. Im so frustrated with this thing.
