I have a single ball valve faucet in my shower and I want more hot water
I want to make the water hot and I hope to have pressure along with that
When I use the cold water in my shower I have more than enough water pressure and then if I add hot the pressure goes down to a trickle and it is to hot I want to adjuste the hot water to cold water ration so that I can take a normal shower

    Hi Mm2013

What heats your hot water? Do you get hot water from a hot water heater or from a boiler? If you get hot water from a hot water heater, is the hot water heater gas or electric (or oil)? If you get hot water from a boiler do you have a "tankless coil" (coil inside boiler), or from a storage tank (coil inside tank) next to a boiler?

Start here and then maybe we can talk about details involved with pressure, OK?

    Back to you...

Weak Hot Water Pressure with Kohler Single Handle Shower Valve [ 3 Answers ]

So I have a single handle shower made by Kohler that is only 2 years old. I have regular water pressure from the tub faucet but the shower when turned up hot has a diminished flow. I have an old Kohler single lever shower/tub faucet that is not supplying hot water (warm only). The sink in the same room and the showers and sinks in the other bathrooms all get hot. I looked for the temperature control band described in other forums but this one is old enough it does not...

No hot water from Moen Single handle shower valve [ 2 Answers ]

I am getting no hot water from my Moen single handle shower valve. I have plenty of pressure from cold water side. I removed the main handle to expose the valve. The hot water pipe has a small valve with a common head valve stem which I turned, hoping to unblock the valve, but this had no...
