Kids movie, can't remember the title
It's been over a decade since I saw this, so I apologize for the lack of detail. Probably early 90's or late 80's, kids movie. It starts with a boy and his pet turtle, he was using him in a turtle race or something like that and the turtle had this little metal band on his arm. One way or another the boy finds himself in another reality or soemthing, at some point he runs into the now, mansized turtle who can talk. Helps him get the band off, think the kid was lost and trying to find his way home. Best I can remember, old and senile hehe
