When I was about grade 5, in 1995, I slept over at a friends house, we snuck into the living room and hid behind a chair a watched this horror film her parents were watching,, I remember...

There was a man, a doctor I think, he was a bad man. He had a girl he kept in the basement of his house. She wore dresses and he made her play the piano. He loved her hands... or they were someone else's hands... either way he had hands in a jar and put them on the girl. And made her play. I also remember when she escaped (tried to escape) she got out the basement window and could see a water tower. A big old water tower. There may have been writing on it.. or in her room in the basement. The movie was kind of black and white I think... and was most likely dated before 1995

Anyone could help that'd be great. I still get freaked about it, I was so young and want to watch it again and have a new memory. It haunts me.
