    Can I be pregnant
I had the mirena for about a year and had it removed because it was causing problems. I have had it out for a couple of months now. I had one full cycle and was supposed to start on the 4 of this month. 11 days after my expected start date I had severe cramps and I never cramp then about a few hours later I thought I started my period but it has only been spotting mostly brownish blood. I would not call this a period because I always have a very heavy cycle for 7 days.

Any time you have sex, even while on birth control, pregnancy is possible.

There's no way to diagnose pregnancy online, and symptoms are not a reliable method of diagnosing pregnancy.

If your period is late then try a pregnancy test using first morning urine. If it's negative then wait until your next period is due, and if you miss it test again or see a doctor for a more accurate blood test.
