    Child abandonment
In the middle of custody battle mother flees state. She has only seen her children once in one year due to abuse They have gone through a 730 evaluation and are awaiting reports. Just found out she is almost 3,00 miles away starting a new life. Father has sole legal physical custody. What are the chances of him keeping it that way without the mother seeing children. Can mother open another case in different state?

No she can't open a case in another state. However, she can file for visitation at any time in the future. Whether she gets it will depend on how much she can prove she has changed. It will not be easy though.
