    Haemorrhoid or perianal hematoma?
So I've had this hard bump, in the middle of my perineum, for 8 days now.
Lets just say I had a bit of problem going to the toilet, and spent far too long on the loo. There was bright blood in my stool, guessing I tore something.
So after I used the toilet, I notice the bump and freaked.
After asking a few questions everyone said it would go in a few days, and in a few days the swelling went down. So I thought it would disappear al together.(thought it was a haemorrhoid)

Few days later also, I used the loo again and there was only a small amount of bright blood this time, but the swelling stayed the same size, so I thought it was getting better.

On the 8th day today, I use the toilet, no blood, no nothing, perfectly fine stool, the thing has become swollen-AGAIN!

But people are saying it could be hematoma... which is usually painful and has discolouration. This has no discolouration, it does not hurt, itches a bit though. I assumed it was an external haemorrhoid before, but it was not coming out of my anus... just in between. Sooo... I didn't want to bother my horrid GP with it, but now it seems its reoccurring, Like I explained, so I will be seeing her for this, but I just wanted to know if any of u guys knew what it could be?

It would be both foolish and irresponsible to diagnose (and treat) your physical problem over the Internet. I'd also stop asking "people" what they think and go to a Doctor.

It could be just about anything, including a tumor.

You are only 18 - you need to get this treated.
