Ice maker not making ice air deflector issue?
I recently had to clean out an over production of ice, the Air deflector was knocked off in the process. Ice was still being produced but stopped again after a couple of weeks. Could the air deflector have caused this? I replaced it, and am wondering if the water line is now frozen because of it.

This happens every few years it seems. The side by side freezer stops making ice. I checked all the water feedlines and they do not appear to be blocked. The unit cycles all the time but it never fills with water... any other items I should be checking? Is there a filter that could get clogged?...
