    How do I network my computers together xp and windows 7 ?
    What do I need to link my Dell desktop running xp and my HP laptop running windows 7? I have Mediacom high speed internet and a belkin wireless router. My printer is Hp 1210 all in one

    I want to share documents and pictures from my desktop with my laptop. I will add a wireless printer also.I do genealogy research.

    If you allow for file sharing on both machines then you can let your network do all the work and you can share files between the two. Also, once you setup the printer on one of the machines you can set it to be used by all network devices.

    Let me know if you need help setting this up. (I have a laptop with Win7, Vista and XP so I can give you step by step)
