RED! I like your thinking! Things happen like this to me all the time. I go through a string of bad luck, and then everything kind of evens out for a bit.

But I am SO down with going to Ireland. I am totally going to fake the Irish accent. I'll smuggle you in Alty. You said you were flexible right?

Plus, you just remodeled. I'm sure you want to show it off. I really would love to visit Ireland - after all I am part Irish. My mom's mother was born there.

Well, I'm sure your daughters going to college is a mixed blessing. I went 500 miles away from home. The first semester I'd call my mom at least once a week feeling all sad for being away. I'd be studying late into the night, not noticing the time, and sometimes would call at 2 am or so. She said I gave her heart attacks when I did that. :o By the second semester, I had settled in and my mom had become used to not having a kid at home any more.

I'm loving the 'new look' of the house.

    <will post pictures!>

Ill still have ciara at home and a hoard of animals to care for,and brendan is just next door,so all in it won't be so bad.

    Whens the wedding JLo? October?

Bella, it will all even out.

Just think of it as using up all your bad luck for the next 10 years, squashed into 3 months!

October 9. :D Carolyn's wedding is September 18. We've been busy so the time is going really fast. I am at my aunt's house in LA this weekend. She's working on my dress. Just a few final adjustments, and then she's ready to start the beading. She won't need me to try it on again until a week or two before the wedding, just to be sure I haven't changed sizes at all. It's so pretty.

Red, I have to be smuggled, I don't have a passport. Even when I do have a passport I have issues because I'm not a Canadian citizen, but I live here.

Leaving usually isn't a problem, but coming back is.

Sigh. I wish I could travel. I'd settle for being able to get into the States. ;)

I don't feel nervous at all, but I am excited. We get back from the honeymoon near the end of October, and then the holidays are already upon us. I also will be gearing up for my busy season. By December, I'm working 60 hours a week usually... and between January and April 15, it steadily increases until I get up to 80 hours a week. So, we are having as much fun as possible now!

Preagneat? A neat preag? Prague that looks neat? Pre-ag-neat?

    Sigh.

If you can't spell it, don't do it. That's my motto. :)

    I'm so lucky :)

Last night I was out exploring the town, when I decided to go watch scott pilgrim vs the world (great film, go see it, especially if you like your games)

Anyhoo, came out of the cinema , its dark and I have no idea in which direction home is (I recently moved and haven't had time to explore which is what I was doing)

So I'm hesitant to ask the stoned and drunk people about town at that time and I see an ambulance parked outside a pub across the road and the ambulance driver is getting back in,

So I nip over and ask if she can point me in the direction of 'home'

She says yeah sure the hospitals near there ill drop you off,

So I get in and get a lift home :D

My son once phoned me at 4am to ask me what his blood group was. That very nearly did give me a heart attack. Long story short - him and his mate were drunk, mate got hurt (busted nose) , drunken son thought he could somehow be heroic and offer the hospital his own blood for his pal. Sheesh!

I think they will. He's a great guy and you know how wonderful she is. He has a 2 1/2 year old son (widowed), so Carolyn is jumping right into motherhood.

Thanks, Cat. You made my day. I am going to be a bridesmaid in Carolyn's wedding. I'll send you and Cats a picture in a couple of weeks. After all, you should know what your daughter looked like. ;)

That's funny (now) - I can imagine the heart attack. I'd call my mom for things like... I'm writing an essay and I can't think of the right word. Well, I did that a few times, until she asked me to stop scaring her.

OK fine, she was in her late 30's early 40's kind of too old for me, plus the paramedic uniform isn't that flattering.

That AND what I meantioned before :)

90s cartoon kids movie about the circus [ 4 Answers ]

Okay, so the movie that I cannot figure out was made in the 90s, I think, because I was a 90s kid. I remember watching it in daycare. But anyway... the movie took place near a carnival or circus and it had a boy in it too. I don't remember the plot or anything. Wow, that shows how much of the 90s I...
