We have a Kenmore Elite microwave model 63679201 that took a lightning caused voltage surge and is now dead. Is there a way to check it to see if it is repairable or if it should be scrapped?

Microwaves usually have a ceramic bodied fuse inside. It might be worth checking that. I could not find the item on www.searspartsdirect.com |
