    Spinning wheel tax deductible if I work in a business that sells and teaches these
    I work for a company that teaches spinning on a spinning wheel. Part of my job is learning all about them, so I can educate, demonstrate and teach, I did not have a wheel prior to working here and need to know if I can deduct the cost of my wheel.

    If it is required by your company, yes. This is itemized deduction as employee business expenses and is subject to 2% AGI limit. In short, you may not be able to utilize the deduction. Your U.S. Tax Return: Itemized Deductions
