Unky - As Adam said, October 31 is Halloween - and it is also Nevada Day, the day Nevada was admitted as a state. It's a holiday for us, though recently they changed our day off to the last Friday in October so that's when we have our big Halloween parties. I'd post some of my Halloween costumes, but they tend to be a little risqué. :p

A few years ago, my friends and I did a Wizard of Oz theme. I went as the Wicked Witch. We were at a bar where they were awarding money prizes. Our team won the best team award ($250) and I won for the ugliest (also $250).

Oh my god we did the same thing. We had every character. I went as the good witch and wore a flashy 80's prom gown. We also won. Not first place though. We won a pile of drink chips. Same thing as winning the money since we would have drank the cash winnings anyway.

I'm doing a lot better today. I slept so well last night. As I've told a few people, the legal part of my ordeal is over. The DA and his attorneys came to terms on a plea bargain that will put him in prison for just less than 25 years.
