How fast are the gusts? The strongest we had here in Mauritius was I think in the 200km/h
No idea, I might go look it up!
It's not as bad as 200km/h but its whipping the rain on the windows, plus we have a tin roof so it's LOUD!

    Hi XOXO!!

    And hey!

I'm great XOXO. I'm on holiday, and there's one week left. I'm going to school tomorrow though. To finalise the Robot project.

We are used to cyclones in Mauritius Shazzy. That was only the worst cylcone we had. In average, and the past few years, the gusts were of order of 120 km/h. Most of the houses are of concrete. I didn't know you had 'tin roofs'

It's called corrugated iron, we just say "tin"... easier :D

Never heard the expression "Cat on a hot tin roof" ?

LOL! The meteo are not always precise...

Oh, I know about corrugated iron sheets, just didn't know you called it 'tin'! I didn't know you had those as roofs... only a few houses have them in Mauritius, the cyclones oblige...

Yeah, I imagine if there was a cyclone here not many houses would have a roof!
I want to get the roof tiled eventually, sick of hearing the rain going tink tink tink on the metal!

Its not that kind of self portrait. There's self portrait self portraits and then there's abstract self portraits.

LOL! There isn't any secret! From geography, the 'upper' parts of the world are colder, and now even colder because of climate change... I wasn't aware of snow in Australia, until M showed gave me a link to a picture taken in Australia, where there was snow.
