    Hey Starty :)
I've been meaning to start a garden but just hadn't gotten around to it. Maybe next year. My current project is putting up a swingset for my son. One project per year.
I didn't mean it NM, and I'm really sorry it won't ever happen again :(

Dus built a 30 foot by 30 foot fence and I have three beds and an old cast iron bathtub to plant in... I have so many places to put things, I started with cucumber (clap yer hands ladies) (OMGosh I can't believe that came out of my mouth) carrots, bell peppers, green onion, and lots of tomatoes... I am going to get the pumpkins and squash in tomorrow, and the lettuce and broccoli. Can't wait... we have waited two springs to make a garden we always have had one, just too busy with last years foster kids and stuff like that so this is the year!!

Wow that sounds amazing Starty! I used to do a garden every year with my dad and I really enjoyed it. I've been in my house almost 3 yrs but haven't gotten to it yet. Still trying to do so many things around here. And since there's a baby... well finances aren't free-flowing. :(

But I do want to do it so that my son can fiddle around like I used to with my dad. I learned a lot and hope he will too!

Do you have a harsh winter? If not, you could do some little tiny bits and pieces then it could be ready for planting in the spring! Love garden memories, I have great memories from my "grandma" neighbor... she was lovely

That's a good idea Starty! I'll have to see how it goes. I'd just need to till the soil, get some good, rich dirt for it and all that stuff. But right now I have a swingset that must be put together. What was I thinking when I bought that for him? Geesh. And today when I was mowing the lawn, I swear the thermostat said "Hell" on it.

So I have to roll up my sleeves, grab some tools and a beer and get t' building. :o

If you mean what we planted: potatoes, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, hot peppers, bell peppers, cabbage, corn, carrots, and cataloupes. One year we did watermelons; that was cool watching those grow. :)
