Briggs & Stratton lawnmower cables fitting.
    Briggs & StrattonQuantum XTE 5HP

The top push handle has broken at the bracket where it joins the lower tube. I have been given a top tube from another B&S mower. The bracket/ to lower tube fitment is identical, some other holes for cable attachment look different. When I got the mower, the cables at bar end were all disconnected. Cables at engine end are still connected.
Question 1. Has anyone had experience with swopping top bars of similar B&S mowers?
Question 2. Does anyone know of plans showing routing and where cable brackets
    fit ?
