Light switch didn't turn light on before, now it won't turn light off
I moved into this home 6 months ago and figured the bulbs in the two outside lights were burnt out as the switch didn't turn them on. They were too high for me to reach with my step ladder to install new bulbs.
Last night one of the outdoor lights was on. The switch wouldn't turn it off and just heard a hissing noise from other light fixture. I turned outside light off from circuit breaker which also turned off indoor lights in part of the house that I'd like to have use of. It's been very cold and windy lately, not sure if this has anything to do with it. |
