    Disconnect alarm system.
Have a 1992 Acura Legend LS model. I put in a remote door opener/lock/starter system because it was cheaper than replacing the door sensor as the alarm would go off every time I used the key to open the door. The remote lock function doesn't work now and if the unlock function stops working as well then I'm back to using the key. I don't want to spend more money fixing it, so, I was told to disconnect the horn wire and this would disable the alarm system, which it did for a day. It now seems to have reset itself and I'm back to the alarm going off when I use the key again.

How do I disable the alarm system so I can use the key to open the doors without the alarm going off due to the bad door sensor?

    Thanks.
