    No water in toilet
    I had to turn off the water in the whole house to do some work , when I turned the water back on their was no water in the toilet tank.
    The valve for the water inlet is on for the tank, in order for some water to fill the tank I have to press down on the float ball , doing this the water comes in as a trickle

    Turn off the water inlet valve. Disconnect the connector to the bottom of the toilet. Open the inlet valve to ensure proper water is being supplied. Yes, there will be water spillage. Prepare!
    If there is little water pressure, the problem is before the inlet valve.
    If sufficient water pressure is available, something might have clogged the toilet fill valve. Clean or replace the fill valve.

    As Bones252100 says, you probably have clogged fill valve. Close water, remove upper portion of fill valve, put towel over the remaining fill tube, crank open angle stop for few seconds to clean incoming tube, close water again, clean upper portion of fill valve, reinstall, turn water back on. That should do...
