    Hi Shar77:

YUP! Most likely the PTRAP to the tub is exposed under the trailer and it has frozen. The ptrap holds water in it at all times to keep sewer gasses from entering into your house.

Take 1/2 gallon of water and heat it to NEAR boiling, but don't let it boil, and then pour it down the drain. Let that sit for a minute or two and then use a turkey baster or similar tool (wet vac. ) to remove the standing water in the drain. Repeat this a number of times and it should eventually start water flowing. Once water starts to flow you will want to run the hot water from the tub to finish clearing the ice from the trap.

Otherwise, you could crawl under the trailer with a hair dryer and start to warm the ptrap to the tub. If you use the hair dryer also use the hot water trick.. together it will speed the thaw. Be sure to check the ptrap after it thaws in case it cracked and needs to be replaced.

After that, you may need to wrap the trap in a blanket or similar to get by for now. Later, you may need to wrap a HEAT TAPE with thermostat to the tub ptrap, insulate it and then you won't have to worry about this again.

Let me know if you need more information...

The drain mechanism is still intact. It opperates up and down, but the down is not far enough down to seal the drain and prevent the water from draining. Like the others I have turned and turned the stopper, but it hasn't fixed the problem. What's next?
