    Notes owed
I recently sold a small business for 40K with a smal business debt load. I had notes(not promissary)with the previous owner. I always paid up until I closed and after I paid some of the debt I was left with no money.

Now I am being sued bu prevoious owners. What do I do and can they get a judgment against me?
