Bagni di orvieto
Hello, one of my close relatives has found bought an italian village called Bagni di orvieto, it is a deserted village and is slightly run down. The asking price for the village was 4.8 million euros (4.6 million est gbp).
The village includes:
3 run down 18th century houses
1 18th century manor house with a wine celler
3 hectacres of park land, vineyard and olive grove.
Stables
The village was also once renowned for its world famous orvieto wine which even to date is very popular in other countrys
The question is: just out of curiosity, if you had the money to do this would you personally go ahead with it and after costs for refurblishing, would you find it worth the money?
To me it seems like investing in a wine company would be the easyest thing to do there what are your thoughts? And how much would you pay for one of the 3 village houses, fully furnished and restored?
