Christmas came way to fast this year Alty.

It is hard to prepare for this year, but going back to the true Christmas without the commercialism, hmmm. There is a weeny teeny rant from me. I hate commercialism of Christmas. Can not believe how many people literally BUY into it. Line ups 30 people long lining up to be slaughtered like pigs.

    Starby, not allergic to ducks.

I was visiting family that has a horse farm.. I wanted to ride the horse. After getting on the horse not too much longer my eyes and airways swelled up and gasping for air and was rushed to the hospital.

So Yep allergic severely when I was younger. Cats were even worse, sorry cat lovers.

Okay, That's it for today, can you guys rate my rant from 1 being the worse to 10 being the best??

Awww Joe! That has got to suck! That's got to be right up there in the rant ratings! I'll give it a high 8! I guess that means little cheeks can rule out Daddy teaching him to ride a horse then hey? There's always Merry-go-Rounds! ;) What about puppies? Are you allergic to puppies too? That would be sad! :( Look on the bright side! You're not allergic to Ducks! QUACK! :D

I am making a new table.

All the scraps left from the past few years.I assembled strips together made of mahogany, oak, and walnut.

The legs( I like these... :p) are ash from town( a tree fell and the local 'portable saw mill' came and made lots of nice dimensional wood from it,a few years back)

I'll be done with it soon and will post pics(If anyone is interested)

I'm here Spydie, at least in spirit, actually, no, the spirit is also weak.

I'm not feeling good, in fact, I feel lousy, crappy, yucky, not happy, downright miserable. The bad news, I still have way too much to do and I'm running out of time.

Someone shoot me, please, just do it, it's the humane thing to do, really, do it, do it, do it!! Arrrrrrrrr, I can't wait until Jan 2. ;)

I've been sick for two weeks and whooping cough is going around. Yay me! I can't wait for 'black' December to be over either. I started my new job and I've been pushing myself waaay too hard. They hired me as a temp and then they told me to take the civil service test so they can hire me on as a permanent employee. They bad thing is they mailed my check to me on Wednesday and I won't get it until Monday because I work out of state. Blah. I feel you alty...

We should start an anti Christmas campaign. Who wants to ban Christmas, sign here! ;)

It's not that I don't like Christmas, but really, it's too commercial, just once I'd like to actually sit, relax and enjoy Christmas, but it's never going to happen. I'm the one who cleans, cooks, bakes, wraps, decorates, entertains etc. etc. etc.

Hubby decided that we were going to have his family over for boxing day. He said to me "I think we should do boxing day dinner" We? Who's this we he's talking about? We don't do anything, it's me. What does he do? He sleeps until 2pm, gets up, showers and then greets the guests. In the meantime I've been up since 6am cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids and pets. Then the guests come and he offers drinks, is the perfect host and makes it sound like he did all the work. Okay, yes, I'm angry, sorry, have to vent. :(

Those years are behind me Spydie. We used to make 3 stops on Christmas eve. My Grandmas, my parents and then hubby's mom. My grandma just died a few weeks ago, my parents died in 2001 and hubby's mom died March 2007. I'd do anything to have that craziness back.

Well you could drive to Ohio to visit me and you'll get plenty of craziness. I love the time I spend with my family, otherwise I wouldn't travel so much. I don't like to think of my parents or grandparents getting older. I can't imagine losing any of them. I still have great-grandparents for heaven's sake! Jack is the 5th generation.

    Wow, Great Grandparents?

I have no Grandparents left and both my parents and both hubby's parents are deceased. Gosh, I feel old. ;)

I lost both my parents when I was 30. Now you just have to do the math to figure out how old I am. ;)

Well now, my mom gets fiesty now that I'm grown. She used to seem so proper. Then she tells a dirty joke and it just floors me. And I never heard her say a 'dirty' word until last year when she called some guy an a-hole when she was driving. It just seems that the older I get the younger my mother seems

I know! I understand them so much more, and I feel like I can be friends with my mom now. I wish I could have opened up to her, like I can now, when I was a teenager though.

Yes I'm 38, but I'm not the average 38 year old. I swear (not in front of my kids) I love a dirty joke, love sex talk, heck, love sex! I have a tattoo, I wear whatever I like, I'm pretty easy going, relaxed, laid back, and right now, a bit tipsy. ;)

Wow, I need to lie down. ;)
